day 13

 Day 13: Day 13 of senior project was pretty similar to my other days. I started off the day by going to the gym and working out. It was a super good workout. After this I went to play tennis and it was super fun. Topday wasn't as competitive as it usually is but we were still out there for a while. Today I played with Meg, Nora, Katherine, Nat, and Violet. All in all super fun last day! Hours today: 4.5 Total hours: 57

day 12

 Day 12: Day 12 of senior project woohoo! Today was just wonderful, to say the least. I started off the day by getting a good workout in #grindtime. Then after this I played some tennis with some friends. Surprisingly, we played tennis for a very long time. It was super fun and funny and I'm glad we played for so long. All in all great day to be a hornet. Hours today: 4.5 Total hours: 52.5 

reflection 2

 Reflection 2: The second week of senior project is completed. Wow, isn't it going by fast. Soon enough, we will be walking at graduation. This week was pretty similar to my last week. On Monday I went to the gym, and the gym was freezing, which was super nice. Then I ran to the swinging bridge and went swimming in the afternoon. Although the run isn't that long, it is very lovely to be outside and run in the woods. On Tuesday, I went to the gym in the afternoon, but I played 9 holes of golf in the morning. This was super fun and so entertaining. Who knew a sport could be so humbling. After watching Jack drive, Nat, Meg, Chappy, and I were definitely at a different level; good thing we aren't the Proctor golf team. I went to the gym again on Wednesday, but my legs were still very sore from Monday, so it was definitely a grind. day 11

 Day 11: Day 11 of senior project was a bit unconventional. I went to play tennis with Meg, Katherine, and Nora and let me tell you it was so funny. If we filmed this match and showed it to the whole school I think we would get a lot of laughs. It was very unorthodox, there was a lot of teaching going on and a ton of competitive twin energy. It was very hot today so this match was definitely a workout. Overall, this was a fun way to get a workout in to see which twin truly is better. I hope we go back for more this week! day 10

Today was day 10 of senior project. As usual, I went to the gym this morning. Had a good long workout and did megs and arms. The gym was locked at first so I had to wait around until I was able to get let in but then I was the only one in the gym which was very nice. After this, I worked more on my program to try and complete it. Overall it was a good day and I am glad I got to the gym this morning. Unfortunately there were no refs so we couldn't play in our game so I am glad I got a good workout in. Hours today: 4.5 Total hours: 46

day 9

Day 9: Today was day 9 of senior project. Today I went to the gym. It was raining out so it was cool to look through the big window. I then walked around a bit in the rain and went to lunch. Loved lunch the chicken was very good and I was ecstatic about the ceasar salad wrap that I was able to make. Then I worked more on my program and went to practice. Practice was in the rink and we played box lacrosse and it was super intense and fun. We ventured to play after dinner and it was amazing, I think it should be mandatory. All in all good day today. day 8

 Day 8: Today was day 8 of senior project woohoo! Love the grind, except for when my hamstrings are so sore that I tip-toe to the kitchen. Anyway, today I did the same old, worked out in the morning for a while, and then worked on my workout program. The gym wasn't as cold as it was the other day but the outdoors felt nice on this cool day. After this, I had to get my game face on for our cancellation game. Then I went to dish duty and it was a super fun time. Great day to be a hornet! Hours today: 4.5 Total hours: 37

day 7

Day 7: Day 7 of senior project and boy let me tell you today was a good one. This beautiful May day called for 9 holes of golf, except this time with more athletes. Nat, Meg, Chappy, Jack, and I took on the greens. As I watched Meg and Nat tee-off I knew that it was going to be a long 9 holes. Turns out that golf is a very humbling sport and I am truly horrible at it. Even though I am not a golf prodigy, it was so fun to be outside with my friends taking in the sun while being competitive, or trying to be. After this fun excursion, I spent some time working on my workout journal. It wasn't as fun as our divet-digging but it had to be done.  Hours today: 4.5 Total hours: 32.5

day 6

 Day 6 of senior project, today I went to the gym this morning and did a big workout. The gym was super nice and cold which was awesome because it was pretty humid out today. After this I ran to the swinging bridge because it was so hot out and jumped in. The water was super nice and it was so pretty. Then I did another workout and called it a day. Overall, my day was filled with activity. Gotta make the most of my last week! Hours today: 4.5 Total hours: 28

reflection 1

The first week of senior project, is done! This week was a super fun week filled with many adventures and hard work. I started off the week by changing my senior project to lead to a healthier lifestyle for my last 2 weeks of senior year. On the first day, I began making my workout plan and went on the hike to the cabin with Nat and Meg. We learned a lot about nature and we got lost for a little bit and learned more about reading signs in the woods. On the second day, I did one of the workouts that I created and it actually took me a while. I learned a lot about my body and how far I can push myself. I also played tennis with Tate and learned that tennis is actually a lot of cardio especially when it’s hot outside. It is a super fun way to be active and outside and trick yourself into doing a workout. On the third day, I went golfing with Jack. day 5

 Day 5 Today was friYAY and day 5 of senior project. As the day started, im not gonna lie I was a little sore from our big bike ride yesterday, but I still went to the gym and completed one of my workouts. After this I spent the afternoon doing more planning and research regarding fitness plans and workouts that strengthen ACLs. After this, I played some basketball as my activity of the day. I was missing senior ball so I had to get back out on the court for another day.  Then I went straight to my lacrosse game at Tilton and it was very warm. Overall, another great day! Hours today: 4.5 Total hours:  23.5

day 4

Day 4 of senior project entailed for a 21-mile bike ride from Boscawen to Proctor Academy. Last night Nat, Meg, and I were trying to plan our day and thought we should bike to school. As we started our adventure this morning, we were only expecting to bike 16 miles but as we made our trip, we realized we had a few more miles than that to get to school. Our ride was mostly flat and shady which was very nice on this hot spring day. I had never biked to school before this and I am very glad I did before I graduate high school. Definitely funny experience filled with lots of laughs and sweat. After this, I did some more work on my exercise plan.  Hours today: 4.5 Total hours: 19

day 3

 Day 3: Day 3 of healthy living called for 9 holes of golf with Jack and Chappy. Being outside for 3 hours in the sun while playing golf was the perfect start to my morning. Not gonna lie these boys are pretty good at golf and it took me a little while to get the rust off. After a few holes though I was back in action. Then I did one of the workouts that I planned on Monday. I did legs and triceps and man am I sore already. Overall, after another solid day of senior project, I am feeling good and healthy.  Today: 5 Total hours: 14.5

day 2

  Day 2: The second day of senior project woohoo! Today I started my day by going to the gym this morning for 2 hours. After this, I went to the dining hall and took some time tweaking some of my workouts to better suit me and my schedule. Today was such a nice day so I had to get outside and do something active so Tate and I played tennis. It was super fun and tricked us into doing cardio for about an hour and a half. Would love to do it again next week, Overall great day.  Hours today: 4.5 hrs Total hours: 9.5 hrs

day 1

Day 1: Today was day one of senior project! As a sat down to begin my project I realized I needed to take a different route and revamp my project. Today I planned in the morning and started creating my new gym program. Then I went on a little hike to the cabin with Nat and Meg. While we were walking we were reminiscing on the freshman year hike and how fast these 4 years went by, cringy I know. After this, I went to the gym and did one of the workouts that I created this morning. Overall, it was a great fun first day filled with activities!  Today I did 5 hours of creating/doing!
