reflection 2

 Reflection 2:

The second week of senior project is completed. Wow, isn't it going by fast. Soon enough, we will be walking at graduation. This week was pretty similar to my last week. On Monday I went to the gym, and the gym was freezing, which was super nice. Then I ran to the swinging bridge and went swimming in the afternoon. Although the run isn't that long, it is very lovely to be outside and run in the woods. On Tuesday, I went to the gym in the afternoon, but I played 9 holes of golf in the morning. This was super fun and so entertaining. Who knew a sport could be so humbling. After watching Jack drive, Nat, Meg, Chappy, and I were definitely at a different level; good thing we aren't the Proctor golf team. I went to the gym again on Wednesday, but my legs were still very sore from Monday, so it was definitely a grind. After this, we had our consolation game against Vermont, so I just worked on my workout program like I do each day. On Thursday, I went to the gym again, and it was pouring rain and was really cool to look out the window and see that. On Friday, I did a long workout and worked on my workout journal because we were so posed to have another game, but it got canceled because we didn't have any refs. Lastly, on Sunday, Katherine, Meg, and I all went to play tennis for a while, and it was so funny. It was probably the most dysfunctional, unconventional tennis match probably ever, but somehow it worked. Would love to play with these girls again. Overall, a good week full of grinding. This week I learned that even if you don't want to do something sometimes, you have to do it. Going to the gym and working out is hard to do when you are sore, but sometimes you just have to do it. For the most part, I liked what I was doing, sometimes, the days get a bit repetitive, but it is fun for the most part. Pretty much everything happened as I expected except for the funny tennis match. I never would have known how fun it is to play tennis with the twins, which is definitely a benefit to this week. This helped me achieve my goals because I had fun and also got to work hard.

  1. Great update Graz!n. Any highlight workouts that is worth nothing that you can think about? Sounds like you have been quite busy doing all the thing. Looking forward to hearing more about the last week for you and what's in store. Keep up the work and you're less than a week away from walking :).
